Not a blog, but a question


A friend has been trying to post comments recently but has just been getting error messages. I just wanted to ask if anyone else is having the same problem and I'd be grateful if you'd just try commenting on this. You don't need to say anything of substance - a punctuation mark would do. If I get no responses, I'll know something's wrong and can try to correct it. Thanks in advance. Oh, by the way, the next blog will be about vitamin pills and toilet rolls. Bet you can't wait.

    Hi, I have nothing to say, only that I just came home from a meeting with academics. Need I say more. Now I'm playing with the thought to disappear from planet earth. Don't be surprised to I'll show up again in Aberdeen. Heard your wife is a terrific cook.

    Anneke - I just got back from the library at the university where I used to teach and it brought back lots of memories - more good than bad, though, I'm pleased to say.

    I had that problem before. Not when I tried to comment, but with others trying to comment on my blog. very frustrating!

    There's a highly intermittent problem occurring with blogger and has been for weeks, causing comment submission to fail.

    Weirdly, I haven't seen one word from Google about the bug, but it is unquestionably their bug. I've observed it happening even when using Chrome.

    There's nothing you can do at your end, Bill.
